Class of 2010

Posted by Megan at 8:03 PM 0 comments
So I'm totally loving being a Senior this year. I can remember back when I was in Elementary school and I was always trying to figure out what year I would graduate, and how old I would be, all that fun stuff. And now its here, its crazy but its so exciting. I ordered my Senior shirt, so hopefully I'll have pictures of that soon I think they are putting the order in today. I bought a Senior keychain thingy.

So yesterday we had our very last class meeting. We got these packets from the people we order our Cap And Gowns from, and they have so many cute things in there. But its all insanely expensive so I'm probably gonna stick with just the Cap And Gown.

We talked about all the fun stuff we get to do Senior Year. I'm really excited for the Senior Banquet, and Senior Lock In. It all seems like so much fun. We talked about Senior Trip, I hate when people talk about it cause it sounds like so much fun. This year they are stopping at Six Flags in Kentucky on the way there. And instead of chosing between Universal and Islands Of Adventure they want to buy ones where we can go back in forth. They are doing the Blue Man group, Sea World, the ocean, a myster dinner thing. It sounds like lots of fun. Til they told us it will be in the range of $550 give or take a little. So its insanely expensive. Plus they need the first paymet of either $120 or $150 (I cant remember which) by October 12-16 so they can hold a seat on the bus for you. So I've officially knocked Senior Trip off of my list of things, but the rest of it still seems like soooo much fun. So I'm really excited for everything else.

The actual school part of Senior year is pretty easy too. I'm doing this thing where I'm taking at least one picture every day that I'm at school. It shouldn't be a problem since I love to take pictures, I just cant slack off on the whole uploading them all every day thing. Cause I fill up my camera pretty fast. I may or may not post pictures. I'll probably post some once and a while. Then I'll post big events like homecoming. But if you wanna see the pictuers I tweet the majority of them.

I'm insanely busy these next few weekends. Like this weekend I'm going to my friends house Friday, Saturday we (me, mom, dad, possibly jacque) are gonna go see Fame. Then the next weekend after that is Homecoming so I've got the game Friday, my friend is having a bonfire after that, then the dance Saturday. The next weekend I'm probably going to get a chance to relax, but the one after that is the trip to NYC =) So I'm on the go a lot these next few weekends.

Staying Positive

Posted by Megan at 9:06 PM 4 comments
Things have been really good for me lately. Which makes me slightly nervous that things wont stay that way, but I'm going to just go ahead and enjoy the good things =) Most of it you guys won't care about, so I won't really get into that, but one of the things is I may be going to New York City in October. We (Me, mom, dad, mel, and jon) were supposed to take Lynn to a water park in Pennsylvania, but instead we may take her to the zoo in Central Park. Which makes me incredibly happy because I love the city so much and can't wait to go back. My mom said we are just going for the day, I think we should find a cheap hotel, stay an extra day and take Lynn to the Toys R Us store, and maybe Build A Bear, find some other fun things do to. I was going to look for hotels but Google's not working for me. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Either way I'm super excited to be going =)

School's going good. I love all of my classes except Pre-Calc. I'm not even going to get into how awful that class it. I love Yearbook so much though. We have a project where we have to take pictures using different styles. I've finished part of it so I figured I would post the pictures I've taken so far. These ones aren't for the yearbook itself, I think its a, she needs a grade type of thing. So anyways here are the pictures I have so far.

My last first second day of school

Posted by Megan at 8:03 PM 0 comments
So today was an even day, kinda like another first day of school. New classes and what note. I had another good day. Lunch is incredibly boring, cause we got a bunch of annoying people in it, but oh well life goes on. Anyways just like yesterday here's a break down of my classes.

2nd Block: Creative Writing
I already love this class. I love to write everything and anything. Two of my really close friends are in the class with me, so it's going to be a lot of fun. My teacher is Ms. Rose, and I have her for so much, but she is such a cool teacher so I'm really glad its her that I have all the time. She's a very laid back person, we normally have lots of free time to work on stuff in class, and just kind of hang out. We had homework, but I finished that in AC. All we had to do was write a list poem. Really easy stuff.

3rd Block: AC
Same stuff as yesterday. Nothing much exciting about that.

4th Block: Sociology
I looooove this class. My teacher is Mr. Boyce. He was my Sophmore AC teacher, and my US History teacher. He is one of the most go with the flow type of teachers I've ever had. He always has fun, we listen to music, watch videos that type of thing. He's traveled allllll over so we get to see things he brings back, I've tried some berry things from some other country. He brought in silk worms for people to try (im sure as you guys can guess I DID NOT try those lol). So he is such a cool teacher. Normally Mrs. Huber teachers that class, but I guess the state says she's not qualified so its Mr. Boyce's first year, and he has let us know that he's teaching a few other classes and that he still hasnt even read through the whole Soc book, and that it's pretty much going to be a blow off class. Which not that I need a blow off class, and I didnt expect it to be, but I'm always happy to have an easy class (considering I'm taking Pre-Calc). So I'm looking forward to that class, even though I don't really talk to anyone in the class, a lot of juniors are in there.

6th Block: English 12
Once again I have Ms. Rose. The class should be fun, normally I love English, but we're going to have a 10 page research paper that needs lots and lots of notecards. I HATE research papers. And even more I hate having to do notecards and bib cards. I just don't like that stuff and think its ridiculous to have to do it. Other than that it shouldnt be too bad. Once again I've got Ms. Rose and she's such a cool teacher it shouldnt be too bad. Thats another class where we've got time at the end to do work and just kind of hang out.

So over all I really love my Senior year. It's going to be a lot of fun, and I threw in Pre-Calc so its not a total blow off year lol. Still not sure if I'm going on Senior trip, I dont think so, its insanely expensive, but I'll see how things go.

First Odd Day Of School

Posted by Megan at 3:22 PM 0 comments
So today was my first odd day of school. I managed to fall asleep around 10 which is incredibly early for me, and instead of sleeping til 6 I woke up at 5:30. I'm super tired and trying to avoid a nap right now.

So first I'm gonna start off with the negative (Since most of it was good stuff)

The bus system is all messed up now. I'm on a totally different bus in the morning that I was last year and now my friend Jacque isnt on with me. The positive side of all this is I dont have to deal with this guy Trent who is incredibly annoying. The busses are messed up in the afternoon too. I normally rode the bus to the stop at the Country Club, but now they dont go there. There's only three stops the first one being the middle school where I get off. Its a way longer walk (which is fine now til winter comes then it sucks majorly) but the plus is its the first stop. And another plus once again is no Trent.

The other negative is I fell. There was some stupid puddle by the water fountain, and I was busy talking and I slipped and fell. Most of you know back at the begining of the year I fractured my ankle, and that ankle is hurting now, but I dont think its as serious as before.

Oh and the last negative is my Pre-Calc class. My teacher, as much as he is totally awesome (I had him last year for AC), he's got some issues. He has a tendancy to go off on random tangets about things that mean nothing at all. And I'm afraid of how I'll do in that class, since he's talks so much about things other than math.

Wait one more negative. AC used to be just study hall, with a ciriculum assignment on Monday's. But now they've cut down our passing time from 9 minutes to 6, and added that on to AC. Now in AC Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we have to watch Channel One and write a "journal entry" about it, then on Tuesday, and Thursday we have to read a book for like 20 minutes and do another Entry about it. I dont like that change at all.

Anyways onto the good stuff. Here's how my classes went today:

1st Block: Choir
I loooooved Choir! It is by far my favorite class of the day. My teacher is so much fun, she was so upbeat and it was just totally awesome. We didn't do much today. We did some fun little exercise things, and talked about how the year should play out. Then at the end she showed us a clip from the Carol Bernette (I think thats her name) show that featured the Jackson 5. Over all I just loooooved that class. I cant wait to do it for the rest of the year.

3rd Block: AC
AC seems pretty icky this year. I really only talk to one person in there (Erica) we share a locker. But since things have changed its just not the same. Plus I totally hate my teacher. Its the teacher I had for swimming my Freshman year, and he's a complete jerk. But at least its just AC, and anyone is better than my Freshman AC teacher.

5th Block: Pre-Calc
Yuckkk. I hate this class already. I have my teacher that I had for AC last year. And he's such a fun person, but thats not what I need for a math class. Math isnt my strong suit, and I dont know how well I'm going to do in that class. And there's no other teachers in the school that teach Pre-Calc so there's no switching teachers. I'll just try my best and my really smart friends (Nichole and Chayton) can help me too so thats always good. Oh and we've already got an insane amount of homework, even though we didnt go over a lesson today <__<

C Lunch: I got C lunch which I loved today. I had Nichole, Ayla, and Chayton in it, which all of us together is always lots of fun. So I'm really happy to have a good lunch this year. I have C lunch tomorrow too lets just hope its as good as todays =)

7th Block: Yearbook
This class seems pretty fun. My teacher is Ms. Rose, who is really awesome, but her room sucks lol. The seats are uncomfy, but the bad thing is I have her for three of my classes (Yearbook, English 12, and Creative Writing). But other than that I think I'll love it. A big part of the yearbook is taking pics which I looooove to do so I have a feeling this class will be good.

Besides the few little icky things. Today was a really fun day. I especially <3 Choir. Here's tomorrow's break down of classes

2nd Block: Creative Writing
3rd Block: AC
4th Block: Sociology (next semester that will change to Developemental Pyschology)
6th Block: English 12

I'll post tomorrow about my even day classes =)

Enjoying Freedom

Posted by Megan at 2:21 PM 0 comments
So today is technically my last full day of summer vacation (tomorrow I have to go to bed at a decent hour). I'm trying to savor it by doing.... well nothing. I'll probably be posting more once school starts, telling you all about the oh so thrilling things that go on day to day in my life, which living in my town isn't much. But its something at least.

Anyways off the subject of school cause it just depresses me. These past few weekends have been amazing for me. Last weekend we went up to Walmart to get my eyes checked and get a new pair of glasses, and instead I got contacts. I've wanted contacts for so long. The first day I had to put them in, I was starting to re-think it, I couldn't stop blinking, I hated having to touch my eye, it took like 40 minutes to get them in. Slowly over the next three or four days it got easier and easier and now I can get them in on the first try. It still takes me a little while to get comfortable in them when I first put them in. They usually feel uncomfy, but after 5 or 10 minutes its good. Now that I'm wearing them all day (when I first got them I could only wear them for a few hours) I'm starting to notice my eyes drying out, so last night we went to the store to find some rewetting drops (we finally figured out what I needed after my mom called Aunt Erika) so I'm hoping those work, and next Saturday I go back for a check up =)

But the REALLY big new (in my opinion anyways) came this weekend. After my Aunt Adrienne tweeted me a 20% off coupon for Coach. I took it as a joke because I adore purses, and have wanted a coach purse, but then my mommy tweeted that she printed it and MAYBE we could look. Well during the week, to get inspired my friend and I went to the mall and were looking around the Coach Outlet. I found a ton of adorable ones, I could spend hours in that store. So my mom came home this weekend, and I talked her into going. Now I must say when I went on Wednesday besides me and my friend there was like 2 people in there. This Saturday it was like a zoo. The look on my parent's faces was priceless, I seriously wish I had a picture. Neither of them understood the amazingness of a Coach purse. My mom found one she liked, but it didn't have the right shoulder strap, and she said something along the lines of "Who would pay $195 for a purse?" and the lady next to her goes "Oh I get one every year" while at the check out we heard the same lady talking about 10 people cutting them in line at the Coach store and it was this big thing, my dad seemed highly interested and amazed at how crazy people get over a purse. Anyways we found one for me =) it was after the 50% off from the store, and the 20% off fromt he coupon, $82 or something like that. Really not a bad price at all for a Coach purse. So I was beyond excited to finally have a Coach purse.

Oh and though no one cares but me the Longhorns won last night =)

Exit Light, Enter Night

Posted by Megan at 6:03 PM 0 comments
Okay so last night my mom took me and my dad to the drive-in. Anyone who knows me knows that I love scary movies. So we decided to see "Halloween 2" and "The Collector" I've wanted to see both of these movies. I love all of the Halloween movies, Rob Zombie (directed the new ones) is a pretty messed up man so I was expecting a great movie. The there's The Collector. That was made by the people who produced Saw, one of my all time favorite gore, pain, torture, type movies. So needless to say I had high hopes for that one.

So what did I think of the movies? I will tell you when I can actually see them! I completely understand that things are scarier in the dark. I hate the dark because of that. I'm the person who has every light in the house on, just so I don't enter a dark room. So yes darkness in a scary movie is a must, but there is a fine line between scary dark, and wtf dark. A movie can have the best gore, the best torture scenes, the greatest music and acting, but none of that matters if you can't see it. I don't understand, how while editing the movie they watch that and think its good. You can't see anything! They need to keep in mind, yes they know exactly what is going on because they've seen the movie come together, the people going to sit down and watch this movie have no idea whats happening. When a man pops out of a closet, then you're seeing people die who you don't even know where they came from, it's just not entertaining. So I really wish I could say whether or not I liked the movies. I like the idea of the movies, I like the scary parts of the movie that I could see, but I honestly had no idea half of the time what was going on during the movies.

Lynn's I Love You

Posted by Megan at 2:43 AM 0 comments
Okay so Aunt Adrienne asked that I post this. It is the most incredible voice mail I got from my sister and Lynn the other day. She called me four times, I was waking my mom up, finally she left this voice mail. She called again and I got to talk to Lynn who told me she loved me, she sang her ABC's and counted to 10! It was very cool. Anyways here's the voice mail for you all to hear. I added a few pics of Lynn cause its better than just audio, if I had vids on my lollipop i would have done those but I dont so pics work =)

Lollipop

Posted by Megan at 9:05 PM 0 comments

So I am posting this from my new laptop (Lollipop). My mommy bought me a new pink lollipop Dell. I'm super excited. I love these computers, ever since I saw the Lollipop commercial haha plus I really needed a new one. So I'm super excited to have this!
Anyways nothing too much new is me. I'm probably still going to see Creed on Tuesday. I'll post about that when its done.
Other than that its been pretty normal. I'm downstate again for the week. Went to the beach with my mom, Jackson, and Aunt Erika. It was freeeeezing. Like 59 degrees, however the lake was amazing. It was actual warm compared to the air. The waves were pretty incredible. They were really strong though, we couldnt go very far in because of it. The wind was also insane. But after we went in and Jackson played in the sand we went into the little cafe place and watched Spongebob and talked. It was a really fun day.

Sidebar Help?

Posted by Megan at 4:04 AM 0 comments
Okay so I thought maybe since Blogger was apparently messing up the day I created my blog, that thats why my sidebar is below all my posts. But either Blogger is way off its game or it's some other reason that my sidebar is way down there but it is driving me up the wall. So does anyone have any clue how to fix it? Or is it still just Blogger spazzing?

I'm really excited for Senior Trip, I'm hoping I get to go. I'm planning on getting a job when I start school (I've been gone all summer or I would have started before) but I need to save money to go to Tucson for Spring Break, and I need to save for NYC. But I've been looking forward to Florida since like middle school so I'm gonna see if I can do it. I'm really excited for everything happening this year. Its probably going to be so much more easier than the rest of the years in the past. I can't wait to get my schedule, I dont think its fair that they make us wait until the first day of school. Anyways I'll post again soon hopefully =)

Back In The Blogging World

Posted by Megan at 8:36 PM 1 comments
Hey everyone I'm blogging again =) I figured with me starting my last year of highschool soon lots of things will be going on and not everyone is on twitter so this is a good way to keep everyone in the loop.

So to start off I don't think anyone besides my family will be reading this, but if you are reading this and you don't know me let me help you with that. My name is Megan. I'm 17, gonna start my senior year of highschool soon, I plan on going to NYC with one of my best friends when I graduate. I am completely addicted to soap opera's. Well one only its called "One Life To Live" if you are familiar with it I love Starr & Cole <3

Okay so now that everyone knows me I can actually start blogging.

This summer has been insanely busy for me. I've barely been home at all. Here's a little recap of how its been so far....

  • The summer started as soon as I stepped out of school. I went to my friend Chayton's house. It was me, him, my friend Jacque, and his friend Kyle. We stayed there for two nights. It was the first time I slept in a camper haha so I was excited. We had a bonfire both nights which involved us burning all of our homework, notes, papers, ect. We lit some pretty freaking cool fireworks. Thats about it for those two days.
  • The day I left Chaytons I took a bus down to Detroit with the drama department of our school. We went to the Fisher Theatre and saw "Grease" on stage which was beyond cool! I've loved the movie since I was a kid so to see it live was just amazing. The only thing that would have made it better was if it had John Travolta and Oliva Newton John, but since they are far too old to do that I'll settle with what I had. After we saw Grease we went to... Greek Town! We went to a Greek restraunt, and for those of you who know me I get chicken wherever I go! Chicken finger, chicken strips, chicken nuggets, whatever you want to call them thats what I get, nothing else. They had pre-ordered meals. We got to chose between some weird things, someone explained to me that one of them was a chicken cabob. I decided to go for it, but couldn't eat it because it touched the peppers and that gave it a really strange flavor. I did however try this cheese stuff that they lit on fire. Someone swore to me it tasted like mozzerella sticks when you dipped the bread in it. I went against my better judgement considering it smelled like throw up, and I tried it and had to choke it down. But even though it was awful I was excited to say taht I tried it since I never try anything! Afterwards I finally got to go home, even though it was only for a night.
  • The next day I went downstate to where my mom works and stays during the week. I spent some time down there before I left to California. I have to say I was actually surprised with how well the ride there went considering we had the boys (Bryan and Sean) who when they are around their mother aren't always the best behaved. It went pretty well though. Anyways California was a blast. I'm not going to get into all of it since we did quite a lot and most of you reading this were there anyways haha. I got to see all of my family which was really cool since I never get to do this. We went to Sea World, the beach, and we climbed a mountain to find a beautiful waterfall. I took tons of pictures, but then got my memory card stuck in my mom's laptop =( We spent most of our nights at Grandpa's house, and while I was there I had the best freaking corn on the cob ever! haha had to throw that in there. After a fun few days everyone left Cali but I stuck around a little longer which is when my next adventure began.....
  • The day my group of family left the rest of us went out to dinner, and while most of the people went back to Aunt Kathy's house I went with Aunt Adrienne to Vegas. I had sooooo much fun there. It was full of just relaxing and not rushing. We saw a few movies like The Hangover, The Proposal, and My Sister's Keeper which I loved all of them! We went to Downtown Freemont and saw the amazing ceiling show. This year it was all like 1969 themed so it was really interesting. Aunt Adrienne forced me to try a deep fried Oreo. I had my mind set on not wanting to taste that disgusting thing and I was ready to tell her how crazy she was for liking it. Then the most amazing thing happened, I put the oreo in my mouth and it was soooooo yummy (those aren't the exact words I said but something along those lines haha). So we had to go back another night for them of course. I also tried the Deep Fried Twinkie which was really gross. Aunt Adrienne introduced me to the Deep Fried Oreo, and I in return introduced her to the world of Sonic! We went there every day (sometimes twice a day) and most of the time we just happened to make it for Happy Hour (between 2 PM and 4 PM) when drinks are half off. I got to go to the wax museum which was pretty awesome. I got to poke many celebs in the eye haha which I found funny for some reason. They were all so real though, sometimes I would wonder if a person was real or wax. We went down the strip a few times. One day we went to the M&M store where I bought my mommy some stuff for her kitchen and we met the M&M guy. Then next we went over to the Coke store. We met the Cocoa Cola bear and he was pretty freaking cool if I do say so myself. Then I tried drinks from around the world, and the drink from Italy was the worst by far! While sitting there with my drinks, on June 25th, I found out Michael Jackson had died. And just throwing this out, when he died I didn't know much about him besides all the negative publicity and since then I've seen soooo many amazing home videos of his, and I have grown to become a huge fan of his. Anyways thats the majority of the trip to Vegas. It was so much fun and just relaxing and I'm reallllly glad Aunt Adrienne took me.
  • After spending a few days in Vegas with Aunt Adrienne we drove back to California. I spent the next few days with my Aunt Kathy. One night we went to see The Proposal. I had saw it already, but it was such a great movie I was more than happy to see it again. We also took Caitlyn swimming at Grandpa's pool. She had so much fun. I would help her go to the middle of the pool then back again until she could do it herself. The poor little got blisters though =( The next day Aunt Kathy and I went to the happiest place on earth Disney Land! I personally love Disneyland, and California Adventures. We went to both parks and I was so happy cause the lines were insanely short. We even got to ride Pirates and Space Mountain twice! Aunt Kathy went on all of the rides with me which was really cool cause I hate riding with strangers. One of the best rides though was at California Adventures and its something called "Soaring Over California" it is one of those virtual time rides, and you literally feel like you are flying over the places that they show you. We also saw a really cool Aladian show. The Genie had some of the funniest lines it was a great chance to just escape the heat, relax, and have a good laugh. So when I was a kid I went to Disneyland and all I really remembered was that I loooooved Small World. I thought that was just the coolest thing I had ever been on. So the past two times (before this recent trip) that I went to Disney, Small World was closed! And I was just so mad because I loved that ride and I wanted to ride it. So this year I went and was so thrilled because it was open! So that was like the second ride we went on (after our favorite Space Mountain of course). We get on the ride, and I'm all excited, and when we got in there I was in total shock. Haha it was ummmm a bunch of dolls singing a song. Yeah did I mention I was reallllly little when I went on that ride? It was cute for a kid ride and it was a good way to just relax but it was not at all what I had remembered. I guess you change from being a little kid. Anyways I had soooo much fun at Disneyland. I'm really glad I got to go there you are never too old to have fun at Disney lol. It was so much fun =) After that though I went back to Aunt Kathy's and the next day I went home to Michigan....
  • I spent a few days downstate in Michigan, then we took off for New York. In New York I got to see Melody (my sister) and Lynn (my niece) which is always so much fun. Lynn has to be the cutest freaking kid ever! The whole point of the trip though was we had a concert on July 4th. This was the first of my concerts this summer. We saw 38 Special, Styx, and REO Speedwagon. It was a really great show. REO was my first concert so I was excited to see them again. I was very upset though that Styx didn't play Mr. Roboto haha even without that it was really awesome, and they had fireworks at the end. We also went to John and Mary's house. We had a fire there like we normally do. Those are always fun cause I love fires. We weren't there too long but it was fun....
  • After New York I finally got to go HOME! All the way home. I wasn't home too long but it was nice to be home even for a little while. I went to the movies with my friend Alaina and her cousins. We saw Ice Age 3 which sucked really bad. But oh well I just wanted to leave the house lol. Then Chayton who is in Ohio all summer, was home for a few days so Jacque and I went to his house. It was his sister's grad party, so there was a ton of their family there. Which was kinda strange at first but after a while it wasnt too bad. We played Croquet with his uncle, aunt, cousin, and some other type of relative haha. I found out I totally suck at that game. But then we played Bocce Ball which I rocked at! haha for the most part anyways lol. After that we just kinda hung out randomly. We were inside and Chaytons mom made him go start a fire for them, which they never went out to lol the adults all just kinda disappeared. So me, Jacque, Chayton, his cousin Tess and some other cousin all just hung out by the fire all night. Chayton and Tess lit bottle rockets, I stayed away cause they freak me out. I did get a cold after that night cause it was like in the high 40's and we were outside all night. We had a lot of fun, then the cousins went into the camper and us 3 went into the house. It was kinda uncomfy cause most of the pillows and blankets were used up haha so the floor wasnt the best but oh well. I ended up not sleeping much that night. I watched The Bee movie, which was actually pretty good for a kids movie haha. Then I slept on and off. The next day we hung out more til Jacques mom picked us up. I stayed home for a while more then soon after that near the end of July me and Jacque went downstate for Warped Tour.....
  • We spent a week downstate which went pretty well, we didn't kill each other haha thats always good. We only swam once and it started raining so that kinda sucked. Aunt Adrienne and Aunt Erika came up too. Aunt Erika only stayed a day, but Aunt Adrienne stayed longer. We had fun going to Target since thats like the best store ever. We also took her blow up friend Monty back to the Ford plant. We hit a Long John's and a Sonic. Then we went to see The Ugly Truth which was pretty good. It was a typical hate to love movie. Then that night we went to the midnight showing of Funny People which was suuuuuuch a good movie. But I love anything with Adam Sandler or Seth Rogan, so having both of them was amazing! We got home pretty late, and Jacque and I had to crash right away cause we were going to Warped Tour the next day. That was my second concert of the summer. It was soooooo much fun. The heat was so much better than last year. It wasn't miserably hot so that helped so much. I got to see the band I wanted to see last year "All Time Low" I was sooooo excited and they totally lived up to my expectations. That was the best concert of the event. I also got to hear Hiding In Thailand which was so cool cause I got to meet them, have them sign their CD, and I got their guitar pick. So that was really cool. Overall it was lots of fun. That night we brought Jacque back up north, but I went back downstate and spent the week down there because that weekend we drove to New York....
  • New York once again was so much fun. Lynn get bigger and smarter every time I see her. I read to her a lot, she loved it and I loved it. We took her to the zoo and she just loved to feed the baby goats. I think her favorite part though may have been the little playground. We had so much fun there. Then afterwards we went to the mall and got Auntie Annie's cause thats the best pretzel place EVER! We also went to the best store ever, Target. We then when to Walmart which I dont much care for, but we got a game called Buzz Word to play that night. It ended up being a really fun game. We played quite a few rounds of that then went to bed. The next day we had a spaghetti dinner for Matthew's birthday. We spent the day up at John & Mary's. It was too icky out to swim, so we just hung around and talked and ate and played Buzz Word some more. We had so much fun there, and then went home the next day. I already miss Mel and Lynn =(
  • We went "home" meaning downstate. I spent the day down there, then the next day (which was yesterday actually) I went to another concert. It was Saving Abel, Papa Roach, Hinder, and Nickelback. We (we being me, my dad, robin, her bf Dave, his sister Rose, and their friends Bridgette and James) ended up being really late. We missed all of Saving Abel, and we heard most of Papa Roach from the parking lot and inside the gates. We found a spot to sit by the time Hinder was on, which I wasn't too impressed by them. However Nickelback made up for that 100% That was by far the best concert I have ever seen! They had so much energy, they played songs from all of their albums. They came back for an encore, played my favorite song last (Animals) and they had so many fireworks and pyro effects. It really was incredible. After that I went home (all the way home) with Robin and them.

So so far I have had a crazy summer. I think the last big thing I have this summer is I'm going to see Creed in concert on August 25th. Anyways I plan on actually keeping up with this blog so check back =)
